1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit forms.

You must have legal capacity to submit information. Parents or guardians must consent if a minor uses the volunteer process.

2. Public-information purpose

This website is operated by Brigada Onse Sun Valley Fire and Rescue Volunteer Group, Inc. to share public information, fire-safety education, community-training requests, and volunteer recruitment.

Content is provided for general information. It is not legal, medical, or operational advice.

3. Emergency disclaimer

This website, email, and contact form are not guaranteed emergency-dispatch channels. They are not a substitute for calling published emergency numbers.

If there is a fire or a life-threatening emergency, get out, stay out, and call for help using published emergency numbers. Do not wait for a website form or social-media message to be read.

4. Accuracy, updates, and availability

We try to keep public information accurate, but pages may be incomplete, delayed, or temporarily unavailable. We may change, suspend, or withdraw content without notice.

Safety lessons are educational. Follow official instructions from the Bureau of Fire Protection, local government, and emergency dispatchers during an incident.

5. Volunteer applications

Submitting an application does not create employment, partnership, or a right to be accepted, trained, assigned, or compensated.

You must provide accurate information and authentic documents. Officers may request additional requirements, schedule interviews, or close an application.

Applications are accepted only when an approved privacy notice and consent text are published.

6. Accounts and authorized portal use

The officer portal is invitation-only for authorized administrators and officers. Volunteer applicants may create a dashboard password after verifying Application Status; that access is limited to their own application.

You must keep credentials confidential, use your own account, and sign out on shared devices. We may revoke access after inactivity, suspected misuse, or role changes.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use this site to commit crimes, harass others, upload malware, scrape private data, probe for accounts, or interfere with emergency operations.

Do not submit other people’s sensitive information without authority. Do not upload photographs of patients, minors, or crime scenes except as expressly requested and lawful.

8. User submissions and document accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of forms, documents, and messages you send. False statements may result in rejection and, where applicable, legal consequences.

By uploading a file you confirm you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe another person’s rights.

9. Content and media ownership

Website text, branding, and organization-owned photographs remain the property of Brigada Onse or their licensors. You may share public pages with attribution for non-commercial community information.

You may not reuse the official emblem or operational photographs in a way that implies endorsement, employment, or official dispatch authority.

10. Third-party links and services

Facebook, maps, email providers, and other linked services are not controlled by us. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you leave this site.

11. Privacy relationship

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict on data-protection questions, the Privacy Policy controls for those questions.

12. Suspension and termination

We may refuse, suspend, or delete submissions and accounts that appear abusive, unlawful, or incomplete. You may stop using the site at any time.

13. Disclaimers and limitation

THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” To the fullest extent allowed by Philippine law, Brigada Onse and its volunteers are not liable for delays, missed messages, incomplete pages, or decisions you make based on educational content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct where such exclusion is prohibited.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Venue for disputes is intended to be the appropriate courts of Parañaque City, subject to officer and legal confirmation.
